Demand Manager, bioMerieux, Inc., Salt Lake City, UT. May telecommute (work from home) 50% of the time and report electronically to Salt Lake City worksite. Must reside within commuting distance of Salt Lake City worksite. As a Supply Chain leader in an international environment, ensure the forecast process and perform replenishment on products with local specificities, including biotechnology products with wide ranges of shelf life and product complexities such as temperature sensitivity. Give visibility to sales administration in case of customer satisfaction discrepancies. Prepare S&OP meeting for local subsidiary by challenging the Marketing team on forecast changes and products Phase In/Phase Out through monthly local demand review. Challenge forecast accuracy of the subsidiary in cooperation with the Regional Demand Manager. Perform replenishment and stock management on local flows (Equipment & Spare Part, mono lot & Make-to-Order and local OEM products) in coordination with replenishment manager and logistics referent. Manage communication to a wide range of parties about product availability and warehouse activity in case of delay in the subsidiary in coordination with sales admin team, replenishment planners and logistic referent. Validate scrap decisions in coordination with replenishment planners. Drive Supply Chain continuous improvement through on demand analytics, KPI tracking and root causes analysis. Assist in virtual demand planner trainings in Latin American countries. Work M-F, 40 hours/week, every other Friday off.
Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field or foreign equivalent. Requires with Bachelor's, five (5) years, or with Master's, three (3) years Supply Chain planning experience to include the following (with Bachelor's 5 years/with Master's 3 years): working with cold chain requirements; S&OP process and forecasting tools; analyzing logistics processes; replenishment flows; information systems such as SAP, Excel, and VMI tools; working in a multi-cultural environment; using Tableau tools; two (2) years (with Bachelor's or Master's): assisting in demand planner trainings in a multi-cultural environment; price negotiations.
