Summary Of Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The E-Commerce Specialist will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining client-specific digital product catalogs, as well as setting up and overseeing e-Commerce storefronts across various platforms. This role includes onboarding new clients and ensuring a smooth and accurate implementation process. The specialist will manage product setup, including pricing and data accuracy, while supporting digital merchandising efforts. Success in this position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to support the ongoing expansion and optimization of digital sales channels. A client-first mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Key Responsibilities Include
Build and maintain digital product catalogs, including categorization, product descriptions, pricing, and assets
Set up and configure e-Commerce storefronts tailored to client needs (e.g., microsites, branded shops, punchout catalogs)
Onboard new clients to the e-Commerce platform, providing training, user access, and product configuration support
Collaborate with sales and product teams to add new SKUs, adjust pricing structures, and implement promotions or bundles
Ensure pricing accuracy and maintain version control across all product catalogs
Work with technical teams and platform partners to troubleshoot integration issues, optimize site performance, and support custom client configurations
Monitor catalog performance, customer feedback, and site analytics to recommend enhancements
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of platform capabilities, industry trends, and client needs
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
2–4 years of experience in e-Commerce operations, catalog management, or digital merchandising
Proficiency with e-Commerce platforms such as BigCommerce, Shopify, Magento, or similar
Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including comfort with CSV product imports and data templates
Excellent organizational and project management abilities
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple client shops simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing experience
Familiarity with punchout/catalog integrations (e.g., BirchStreet, Coupa, Ariba) is a plus
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for storefront customization is preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
2–4 years of relevant professional experience in e-Commerce, digital merchandising, or catalog management

Prior experience with ERP or procurement systems is a plus
