Position Summary
As a member of the Practice & Client Services team, the Solutions Analyst will evaluate project requirements and develop solutions based on the requirements.This role will act as a focal point for detailed analysis and recommend design decisions based on their expertise.This may require the Solutions Analyst to perform additional analysis to understand and meet user requirements by interviewing users, assisting in the planning of a solution and implementing the functionality for a given solution.The Solutions Analyst will serve as a “go to” solutions resource and it is expected that they will express their creativity in developing effective solutions while being part of project teams with direct contact to the attorneys.
Duties And Responsibilities
Perform detail analysis, design, and implementation of solutions to meet user requirements by interviewing users, planning project lifecycle and implementation. This may be done independently for smaller scale projects; or on a team for larger scale projects under the guidance of Practice & Client Services team members, Project Managers, and/or IS department management.
Customize and configure purchased software to meet solution requirements. Work with vendors as necessary.
Provide technical support or other operational tasks on software as required.
Continually keep project team up to date with projects’ status as necessary.
Maintain documentation and backups of firm developed applications.
Continually monitor existing software applications; propose upgrades when appropriate.
Provide support to clients’ technical staff as appropriate.
Advise IS staff on any system, security, and application issues as necessary and needed to enhance functionality.
Identifies, analyzes and solves varied, unrelated problems and propose changes as needed to enhance functionality.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required.
Two + years of experience in utilizing Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse), SharePoint Online and other low-code development tools to build custom enterprise-wide applications and workflows required.
This role is fully remote but must reside in a commutable distance to the applicable firm office required.
COMPETENCIES
Expertise in using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse is essential. Power Platform certifications are desirable.
Advanced knowledge of SharePoint on-premises and online versions, including administration, power-user capabilities, and out-of-box customizations.
Knowledge in designing, developing, and implementing custom SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint online solutions.
Experience with migrating SharePoint on-premises sites and solutions to the cloud. Experience with using ShareGate a plus.
Experience with using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) to create and deploy custom applications.
Experience with the low-code/no-code tools like Neota is a plus.
Experience with Box enterprise administration and API is a plus.
General understanding of Microsoft Teams usage, administration, and customization.
General understanding of building user interface (UI) technology and/or single page application design patterns.
General understanding of Agile Development Methodologies such as Scrum, DevOps and Git.
Oral and/or written communication skills to advise on complex matters which may require significant interpretation.
Advanced degree preferred.

SALARY
New York based applicants only: The target annual salary range for this role is currently $114,000- $133,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications ,market data and internal equity. Total compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, yearly retirement plan contribution, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Illinois based applicants only: The target annual salary range for this role is currently $101,000- $118,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications ,market data and internal equity. Total compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, yearly retirement plan contribution, and a comprehensive benefits package.
