YOUR IMPACT
As a Site Reliability Administrator (SRE) Senior, you will join a global team where you’ll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and mentor other team members. You will be actively engaged with Technical Support Services, Cloud Service managers, and peers within Cloud Ops Delivery and the Platform team.  You will bring your ideas and knowledge to continue to improve and make our cloud deployments more resilient.  

You will be part of the BAU team within Cloud Ops, responsible for Kubernetes management, OS patching/upgrades, Backup/Recovery, Infrastructure migration, and On-Call support.
To achieve that, we are using great tools like Git, Ansible, and Terraform, among others. We would like you to bring your experience and improve our usage of any tool or even suggest a new one. Our Tech Stack consists of GCP, AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry, Anthos, Bosh, and Kubernetes. We are currently adopting Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines to streamline our deployments. You would be coming in to improve or learn how to do them.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
•    Review, Triage, and own incoming tickets for our Private Cloud deployment on AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenText Cloud
•    You should be comfortable with weekday and weekend On-Call support on a rotational basis 
•    Ability to code and refactor Terraform for infrastructure resizing and deployment.
•    Fluent with Kubernetes deployment troubleshooting, k8s backup/recovery, and role-based access.
•    Able to build and deploy applications to cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure 
•    Configure Active Directory, Antivirus (Sentinel One, Trend Micro), and debugging related issues.
•    Troubleshoot build and deployment-related issues on cloud platforms 
•    Collaborate with application teams, infrastructure teams, tools teams, and operations teams to develop or leverage CI/CD pipelines (both on-premises and public cloud)


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
•    5+ years overall deployment/build/support/architecture experience with a minimum of 2+ years in DevOps or cloud technologies  
•    Must have experience in writing, refactoring, and deploying IAC using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
•    Experience in OS patching/upgrade, Antivirus deployments, and implementing recovery from backup.
•    Experience working with Azure or AWS preferred, GCP, or Anthos is acceptable. 
•    Good experience with UNIX/Linux & Windows 
•    Experience with at least one of CI/CD build and deployment systems (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, or AzureDevOps GitHub, and Maven)
•    Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and handle multiple projects.

Desired Skills
•    Experience with container orchestration technologies on cloud platforms (AKS/EKS/PKS/GKE Instances)
•    Infrastructure automation using Ansible/Terraform/Helm
•    Working experience in provisioning and managing container clusters
•    Experience managing container-based applications
•    Good understanding of networking, storage, and databases
