To help lead that growth, we’re looking for experienced Area Sales Managers (ASM) who are passionate about helping enterprise customers solve their toughest material-flow challenges and create lasting business value.


Your Mission

This is a customer-first role—not a channel role. Your main focus will be building meaningful relationships with end-users, understanding their unique challenges, and guiding them through solutions that create real impact. You’ll be trusted to lead strategic conversations from the shop floor to the executive suite, connecting operational needs with the long-term benefits of automation and robotics.


What You Will Do

  • Inspire new partnerships: Identify and engage high-potential enterprises in manufacturing, logistics, pharma, and other key industries. Help them envision a smarter, more connected plant with MiR at the center.

  • Navigate complex decision-making: Build trust across diverse stakeholder groups, guide pilot programs, develop compelling business cases, and support smooth, scalable deployments.

  • Communicate value with clarity: Clearly link MiR’s solutions to customer outcomes—like safety, efficiency, and cost savings—and collaborate closely with finance teams to quantify the impact.

  • Lead with purpose: Own your regional pipeline in Salesforce, and work cross-functionally with our marketing, product, and application engineering teams to move opportunities forward.

  • Foster collaboration: Work seamlessly with MiR channel partners and our colleagues at Universal Robots to ensure customers feel supported and informed every step of the way.

  • Be a voice for innovation: Represent MiR at executive meetings, innovation sessions, and industry events, highlighting how AMRs support digital transformation and the future of smart factories.


Who You Are

Must-Have Skills & Experience

 

  • B2B sales leadership: 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales (ideally in automation, industrial software, or capital equipment). You bring a thoughtful, consultative approach and know how to navigate complex buying journeys.
  • Excellent communication: Fluent in English and the region’s main business language—you’re comfortable speaking to operators and executives alike.

  • Financial storytelling: You can translate concepts like ROI, OEE, and payback periods into compelling business narratives that resonate with decision-makers.

  • Sales discipline: You use modern tools like Salesforce and MEDDPICC to stay organized, forecast accurately, and manage your pipeline effectively.

  • Growth mindset: You’re curious, eager to learn, and enjoy sharing new insights that help your team and customers succeed.


Nice to Have

  • Background in mobile robotics, AGVs, or intralogistics

  • Experience working with large, multi-site manufacturers or 3PLs

  • Familiarity with lean methodologies and the Toyota Production System (TPS)

  • MBA or a relevant advanced degree
