The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for creating accurate forecasts to drive production, inventory, and supply chain decisions. This role works closely with and collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Procurement teams to ensure customer demand is met efficiently while optimizing inventory levels, minimizing costs, and supporting accurate financial forecasts. 

  

Your Impact: 

  • Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and input from key stakeholders.   

  • Analyze sales trends, seasonality, and promotions to improve forecast accuracy. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to understand demand drivers and adjust forecasts accordingly.  

  • Lead the monthly demand planning process (S&OP) for PTx Trimble, presenting forecasts and insights to leadership. Monitor and report on key forecast performance indicators (e.g., forecast accuracy, bias, service levels).   

  • Identify demand variances and recommend corrective actions to mitigate supply chain disruptions. Work closely with procurement teams and operations teams to ensure optimal stock levels.  

  • Maintain demand planning systems and tools, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency. Drive continuous improvement in forecasting processes and tools. 

  

Your Experience and Qualification: 

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics.  

  • Proficient in demand planning software (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra, NetSuite, Kinaxis) and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across departments.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.  

  • APICS CPIM or similar supply chain certification is a nice to have  

  • Experience with ERP systems and integrated planning tools, including SAP. Background in precision agriculture technology is a nice to have

Your Compensation: 

This position will be within the range of $72,000 - $147,381 based on experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 10% compensation.
