Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team. This role will be instrumental in managing daily communication with overseas factories, maintaining production timelines, and ensuring on-time deliveries. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is comfortable liaising across departments to keep production running smoothly.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily correspondence with overseas factories
  • Liaise with design, sales, technical design, and traffic departments as needed
  • Maintain and monitor time and action calendars and production WIP charts
  • Track and follow up on all production orders to ensure timely execution
  • Ensure on-time bulk deliveries and communicate any updates to the sales team
  • Coordinate with traffic and accounting to ensure timely payment release and goods arrival to the warehouse
  • Review and approve/comment on shipping marks, packaging layouts, and related materials 
Requirements
  • 4+ years of production experience in apparel or related industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexible, resourceful, and able to problem solve in a deadline-driven environment
  • Working knowledge of garment construction, production timelines; understanding of testing is a plus
  • Bilingual is preferred, Mandarin speaking is a plus 

Hybrid Work Schedule

4 days a week in the office, Friday work from home


New York Pay Rate $21.50 - $25.00 per hour
