  • Collaborate closely with project managers, design leaders, and consultants to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth coordination with MEP, lighting, and structural consultants, resolving technical conflicts and optimizing performance.
  • Lead internal quality control efforts and support specification development in alignment with documentation.
  • Participate in project risk assessment and proactively identify issues related to constructability, code compliance, and scope clarity.
  • Represent HLW in client and consultant meetings; step in for Project Manager as needed.
  • Assist with contract document reviews, permitting, and support signing/sealing processes.
  • Manage and review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction administration.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, resolve field conditions, and maintain alignment with design intent.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members; contribute to internal standards and staff development initiatives.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality interior projects, particularly in commercial, workplace, or mixed-use environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of NYC building codes, ADA regulations, and construction practices.
  • Proven ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and multiple consultant relationships.
