Job description

We are looking for data scientists responsible for solving business problems like forecasting, segmentation, classification using statistical and data science techniques. The candidate should have experience as a data scientist with extensive experience in analytical modeling and can work independently right from understanding the business problem through the development & deployment of models. Experience in life sciences and health care industry preferred.

Experience at least 1 year with good foundational understanding /practical experience of Data science / Statistics (very important) Experience with using Juptyer notebooks on cloud and on the machine Must have willingness to learn (demonstrated by work on projects/portfolio or learned any new skills recently) Must have interest to work for startups rather than large entities You must not want a typical “job” Must be a good problem solver (good with structuring problems) Knowledge of Python (MUST), Node JS, TypeScript Should be able to conceive the design, test and develop forecasting and other models You will be responsible for developing data products from ground zero This position is on the road map to become full time on funding (1-2 months) with ESOP grants on offer too Responsibilities Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing MUST be familiar with demand modeling/forecasting Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms Understand data engineering needed to bring analytical prototypes to production Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in quantitate field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) At least 1 – 5 years’ of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms Fluency in a programming languages (Python (MUST), C,C++, Java, SQL) Familiarity with Big Data frameworks.
