Develop assembly and component models based on engineering specifications.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards.
Use simulation software like FlexSim or Visual Components for manufacturing processes.
Create virtual prototypes to optimize product functionality and efficiency.
Analyze simulation results for bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
Prepare technical drawings and documentation to support models and simulations.
Maintain organized records of design changes.

Job Profile:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, or equivalent.
Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SolidEdge, Fusion 360 etc.).
Experience with industrial process simulation software (FlexSim, Visual Components, etc.).
Basic understanding of virtualization technologies and their application in industrial processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Work environment is presential in Lisbon Aptiv Center.
Availability for traveling in Europe is required.
