Solutions Development Engineer

Curtis Power Solutions 

 Remote or Charlotte, NC

Compensation contingent on skills and abilities ranging from $90,000 - $110,000

Job Description:

  • Work with vendor network and field sales team to develop ‘standardized’ solutions that can help customer’s navigate changes in technology, customer demands and supply chain volatility.
  • Initiate, coordinate, procure and assemble technical submittal documents for channel review and approval.
  • Develop, modify, or procure technical drawings for proof of design.
  • Understand advanced concepts of building electrical distribution systems and how to apply power generation equipment and related technical scope of work.
  • Lead initiatives to develop products/solutions utilized and adopted by the entire sales team.
  • Weekly coordination meetings with management on progress.
  • Work on a variety of products in industries such as data centers, healthcare, cogeneration and continuous power plants. 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the power industry and 3-phase power.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively.
  • High level of productivity output.
  • Independent motivation and thought, 
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize demands.
  • Respond effectively to changes in workload, schedules, and environment
  • Engineering Degree preferred; Electrical or Mechanical related.
