Our subsidiary, Integrated Circuit Testing GmbH (ICT GmbH), with ~170 employees, develops and produces electron microscopes, the heart of our machines, which monitor processes in semiconductor production and classify the smallest defects on wafers. To meet the rapidly increasing demand from our customers in the semiconductor industry, our location near Munich, Germany is constantly growing.

Our Quality Assurance Engineers ensures that all materials and components entering the manufacturing process meet the required quality standards. You will play a critical role in maintaining product integrity by conducting thorough inspections, reviewing supplier documentation, and implementing quality controls, specifically for electron beam (eBeam) technologies in the semiconductor sector.

You’re eager to;

  • Be a part of highly qualified engineering team, to efficiently manage the manufacturing as well as technical domain of complex modules developed by our R&D team

  • Collaborate with other engineers to ensure a prompt execution as well as efficient and smooth production

  • Take a lead on driving our suppliers to excellence for enabling smooth manufacturing processes in our facility near Munich

Key responsibilities:

1. Incoming Material Inspection:

  • Develop and maintain incoming inspection procedures and checklists

  • Help to develop inspection instructions to transfer incoming inspection to outgoing inspection control

  • Creating Inspection protocols and feedback mechanism to get results of inspections of supplier 

  • Leading the creation and implementation of sample testing mechanism with dynamic quality control

2. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate closely with the procurement, engineering, production teams, R&D and sourcing to address quality issues.

  • Work with suppliers to resolve quality concerns and ensure continuous improvement.

  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve supplier performance and internal processes.

3. Compliance and Auditing:

  • Support internal and external audits related to incoming inspection processes.

  • Ensure all quality activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.

  • Verify that materials meet specifications outlined in engineering drawings and quality standards

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in incoming inspection or quality assurance within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.

  • Proficiency in mechanical features, technical drawings, optical microscopes, measurement devices

  • Strong understanding of quality standards. Knowledge on ISO 9001 and SEMI guidelines would be an advantage, not a must

  • Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis methodologies.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in using Power Point and Excel, basic SAP skills
