The Job
The Product Management department manages the product process to deliver the entire collection on time. As Product Manager you make sure that the collection meets the market requirements and is aligned with the stichd strategy by successfully linking internal processes and creative teams. As Product Manager you are the multi-faced link and coordinator between several departments (Product Development, Product Design, Operations, Marketing & Sales).
The Product Manager in this job is fully focused on the product category Calvin Klein Legwear for both women and menswear. Meaning that you have a very diverse job and will work brand focused on several product groups. Deliver the product needs for the different distribution channels and manage key account requests.
Your Mission
- Execute and manage the product process from clear briefs to range launch;
- Create a lineplan and planning and translate this effectively into a clear product briefing for the creative team and coordinate the tasks and responsibilities of the teams. Develop short- and long-term collection strategies, tactical product executions and innovations that position Calvin Klein as the leader in the assigned categories;
- Prepare market- and competitor studies on an international level as well as analyzing forecasts and sales data;
- Cooperate with design, development, and sales to ensure final collections are reflecting market needs;
- Collaborate with stakeholders and drive the product creation process based on the Go-to-Market calendar milestones; Understand sales, margin, and merchandising requirements to deliver market / account fitting product concepts;
- Meet category financial targets as set by the organization;
- Build and maintain cross functional communication and relationship;
- Manage, maintain, and distribute all information of assigned product lines. Ensuring correct and on time input in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP system;
- Present product lines to internal and external teams in a comprehensive, clear, tactical manner;
- Keep track of sustainability developments in the market
Your Talent
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or comparable fields;
- You have 4 or more years of experience in product management, preferably in the sports-lifestyle and / or sporting goods industry or an international organization working with global brands;
- Good market and retail knowledge in the lifestyle, fashion, and / or sporting goods industry;
- Preferably experienced in Legwear category;
- Flexible team player with an open mindset, strong organizational skills, analytical, well-structured with the ability to prioritize;
- Very good verbal communication skills as well as excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken);
- Excellent MS-Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point).
This role is based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible.
