Who You Are
You are an experienced and highly motivated Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco and Juniper networking technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting complex enterprise networks, including data center, campus, WAN, and security environments.
About The Role
This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can operate independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
Other responsibilities include:
- Design and deploy robust network solutions using Cisco (Catalyst, Nexus, ISR/ASR) and Juniper (MX, EX, SRX) platforms.
- Lead network architecture and integration efforts across enterprise, campus, and data center environments.
- Perform migrations and upgrades of network infrastructure components with minimal downtime.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Conduct network assessments and provide remediation strategies aligned with industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex Layer 2/3 issues, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, and VRFs.
- Configure and manage VPNs, firewalls, and routing protocols for secure remote access and interconnectivity.
- Collaborate with project managers, system engineers, and security teams to deliver cross-functional solutions.
- Support monitoring and alerting tools to proactively manage network health and capacity.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide escalation support for critical incidents.
- Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies to the requirements section.
- Identify and escalate security risks to the appropriate Executive Leadership Team member and actively contribute to remediation efforts.

Required skills:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering roles.
- Expert-level knowledge of Cisco and Juniper routing, switching, and firewall platforms.
- Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 technologies, QoS, NAT, ACLs, and multicast.
- Experience with Cisco IOS-XE/NX-OS and Junos OS.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting with tools such as Wireshark, iPerf, and SNMP-based monitoring.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN, EVPN-VXLAN, or MPLS is a plus.
- Ability to create and interpret technical documentation and diagrams.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Desired skills and experience:
- Certifications: CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise or Data Center), JNCIP/JNCIE strongly preferred.
- Experience with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting).
- Familiarity with network access control (NAC), 802.1X, and RADIUS.
- Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.

Must be based in the United States.
Pursuant to the NYC Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range in New York City for this position is $175- $225 OTE, Compensation in other geographies may vary.
