Job description

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Title Policy Manager opportunity with a confidential, award-winning community bank headquartered in the South. This full-service financial institution is known for its hometown banking feel, strong community roots, and culture of employee development. With a presence across Southside Virginia and parts of North Carolina, and a commercial and residential title office in downtown Dallas, this client is frequently recognized as one of the nation’s top community banks.

The Title Policy Manager is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:
  • Prepare and issue residential and commercial title policies, endorsements, binders, and pro forma policies.
  • Manage all aspects of post-closing endorsements including downdates, assignments, and modifications.
  • Handle out-of-county orders including HOI requirements, premium splits, and T-00s.
  • Distribute completed policies to clients, lenders, agents, and underwriters.
  • Monitor monthly title premium balancing and remittance.
  • Maintain data for statistical reporting and audit compliance.
  • Track files to ensure Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) compliance.
  • Communicate with escrow officers, underwriters, and lenders to resolve policy matters.
  • Expedite policy issuance or respond to post-policy requests efficiently.
Specific qualifications for the position include
  • College degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Texas title insurance forms, TDI procedural rules, rate rules, and codes.
  • Extensive experience with policy preparation and remittance.
  • Ability to describe recorded closing documents using stamp codes/standard language.
  • Licensed (or able to be licensed) as an Escrow Officer in Texas.
Entry-Level Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask under deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
  • Typing and data entry skills; quick learner of internal systems.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ramquest experience is a plus.
Pay Rate Range: $80000 - $90000 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
