Position Based at Our Eden Prairie Headquarters – In-Office 3 Days/Week
We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative professional to join our team at our Eden Prairie headquarters. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring in-office presence three days per week to foster connection, innovation, and team alignment.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Communication Consultant to lead internal and external communication initiatives, with a strong focus on employee engagement, recruitment marketing, and employer brand stewardship. This role will serve as the internal communications lead for our largest client group—Human Resources—while also driving channel strategy, content development, and digital employee experience enhancements.
Essential Functions
Internal Communications (HR Focus)
- Serve as the primary internal communications partner for the HR department.
- Maintain and update Zintranet pages to ensure timely and relevant content.
- Manage communications for key people processes in collaboration with HR Business Partners, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition teams.
- Create engaging content including videos, articles, and Viva Engage posts to support HR initiatives and employee engagement.
Channel Strategy, Analytics & Development
- Develop and refine internal communication channels to enhance the digital employee experience.
- Collect and analyze data to inform channel performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with IT and digital teams to explore and implement new platforms and tools.
Recruitment Marketing
- Create compelling content for external recruitment channels, including social media, job boards, and career sites.
- Collaborate with external agencies to develop and execute social media campaigns that attract top talent.
- Lead the ongoing development and optimization of the Careers section on Zinpro.com.
- Strengthen and promote the company’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP) across all touchpoints.
Employer Brand Stewardship & Employee Advocacy
- Ensure alignment between the internal employee experience and external employer brand messaging.
- Maintain and update company profiles on platforms like Glassdoor and Indeed.
- Design and launch an Employee Advocacy Program to empower team members to share their experiences and amplify the employer brand on social media.
Qualifications
Minimum Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or employer branding.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple formats and platforms.
- Experience with content management systems, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for employee engagement and building a strong, authentic employer brand.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Viva, SharePoint, and other internal communication tools.
- Video production or editing experience is a plus.
- Experience working with HR teams or in a talent acquisition environment.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The work environment characteristics are those consistent with a standard office environment. This position is based out of our Eden Prarie Headquarters and is in office 3 days a week.
Positions in this class typically require typing, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Schedule Requirements
This position is expected to work within core business hours and occasionally requires participation in after-hours work with domestic and international stakeholders.
