Conduct and analyze model tests and CFD calculations, both in-house and external.

Coordinate with shipyards, ship designers, and classification societies.

Provide technical support to sales, including proposal preparation and specification development.

Your mission

Performing hydrodynamic and seakeeping calculations for the design of roll damping systems
Conducting and analysing model tests and CFD calculations (both in-house and external)
Carrying out the sea trials and performing on-board measurements
Coordinating with the shipyards, ship designers and classification societies
Providing technical support to sales, including proposal preparation and specification development
Performing stability calculations (e.g., for floating docks and crane ships) and validating the loading computer output data

Your profile

A degree in Naval Architecture or a comparable technical discipline, preferably at the master’s level
Familiarity with various CFD tools is advantageous
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and MATLAB is considered a strong asset
Excellent command of English and good proficiency in German, both written and spoken
A goal-oriented, proactive, and assertive approach to work
A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a team environment
Practical experience in a maritime setting is highly desirable
