The Opportunity
As part of TMC Finance department, you will partner with the management team to guide financial decisions, manage costs, and support new services and projects. We seek a Controlling Lead to oversee our internal Controlling department, which spans all company departments: Financial, Medical, Sales, Operations, etc. You will manage a team of four and handle functional BI areas.
You will be the primary reference for managers across the company, supporting day-to-day financial data needs and partnering on Budget/Forecasting and process efficiencies. Additionally, you will act as the point of contact for official reporting to Unilabs HQ, including monthly management reports and Budget/Forecasting processes.
Mission and Organisational Context
The Controlling Lead in the Finance Department, based in Barcelona, will report to the CFO. They will provide information for internal (TMC CEO, departments) and external (Unilabs) decisions, assess economic impacts of initiatives, and suggest actions.
This position is located at Torre Mapfre in Barcelona, with occasional travel for projects and requires working from the office at least three days a week.

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills
Controlling experience – You have at least 5 years working experience within a controlling department.
People Management – Experience on managing small teams.
Analytics - Strong knowledge of reporting and financial skills, including data modelling.
Project Management experience – Experience managing complex projects across organizations.
MS Office – Strong working knowledge.
Educational background – A Finance related university degree such as Economics or Business Administration.
Be a good communicator and multi-tasker - Control the flow of data and work between the different departments.
Language skills – Very fluent English and Spanish are a must. As TMC is a multinational and diverse company and our company language is English, you need to demonstrate an advanced level of written and spoken English.
