Description

NATECH is recruiting for an Instructional System Designer (ISD) to support the FAA National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) program. This is an exciting opportunity for talented individuals to contribute to the transformation of the Nation’s aviation system in which air traffic will move safely, swiftly, efficiently, and seamlessly around the globe.


The ISD is responsible for planning, developing and delivering training technical programs. Duties may include analyzing training needs and developing programs to address them; evaluating third party training providers; developing lesson plans and training materials; and managing delivery of internal and externally-provided training. May also administer tests or knowledge assessments to ensure understanding of training content and application of knowledge, provide train-the-trainer programs and qualify trainers for content delivery.


Responsibilities:

  • Aid in the development of a 24-hour Web Based Training that includes, Level I, II and III interactivities.
  • Aid in the development of Student Guides, Lab Materials, Lab exercises and assessments.
  • Responsibilities also include writing an Analysis Report and Course Design Guide (CDG) after analyzing Government Furnished Information (GFI).
  • Works with project/team leaders regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
  • Develop solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple areas or disciplines


Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires the ability to have and maintain a public trust clearance
  • Requires a BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain
  • Requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts
  • Strong knowledge of Storyline
  • Experience creating Course Design Guides and Analysis Reports
  • Experience developing Storyboards
  • Experience in all parts of the ADDIE process
