At Branch 777 of Southwest Funding, LP we focus on our driving new market share by growing current accounts and hunting for new business opportunities as informed Mortgage Loan Originators. As a Branch 777 of Southwest Funding, LP Field Sales Originator (B2B / B2C Sales) you will generate leads to grow new Purchase business through calls and face to face appointments with Real Estate Agents, Accountants, Insurance Agents, Title Companies, etc.  

Job Responsibilities 

As a Branch 777 of Southwest Funding, LP Field Sales Originator (B2B Sales) you will manage the entire process from prospecting to close using consultative / needs based selling methods as an account manager. 

Additional responsibilities of the Field Sales Originator include: 

Maintaining a high level of activity by actively running appointments with Real Estate Agents over the phone and in person build a healthy opportunity pipeline to achieve and exceed monthly pipeline requirements. 

  • Thoroughly managing your opportunity pipeline with a sense of urgency and follow-up 

  • Meet and exceed monthly new agent targets 

Generating Home Purchase revenue and grow Real Estate Agent base: Prospect, qualify, solidify relationships; increase referrals by cultivating new relationships laterally and above the primary contact. 

Building a healthy opportunity pipeline to achieve and exceed monthly/annual quota of mortgage product mix, FHA, USDA, VA, CONVENTIONAL AND JUMBO LENDING PRODUCTS. 

Acquiring ongoing residential marketplace intelligence, by researching trends and best practices, reading mortgage, real estate publications, seeking out learning and development opportunities and utilizing mortgage industry resources. 

Acting as a trusted Originator by consulting with Real Estate Brokers and Sales Agents to understand their critical lender relationship issues and strategic objectives to develop and implement an effective enterprise wide strategy that quantifies the value delivered by Southwest Funding, LP – Branch 777, drives business results and provides clients with a high and on time closing ratio. 

Job Requirements 

To qualify for the Southwest Funding, LP – Branch 777 Field Originator (B2B Sales) position, you must have the proven ability to initiate, establish and nurture meaningful Realtor relationships face to face, over the phone and written as a knowledgeable account manager. 

Additional requirements of the Southwest Funding, LP – Branch 777 Field Originator (B2B/B2C Sales) include: 

NMLS Licensing and/or willingness to obtain 

  • 2- 5 years of outside business-to-business sales experience 

  • Cold-calling and cold-e-mailing experience 

  • Lead generation or client research experience 

  • Self-motivated and competitive 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills  

  • Entrepreneurial approach  

  • Proactive business style  

  • Superior communication and presentation skills 

Experience with conceptual sales, solution selling and value-based selling, a plus 

Ability to positively adapt to change in a highly dynamic work environment 

Proficient with Calyx Point, DU , LP, GUS, Total Scorecard, VIP.
