Position Overview:
 
 
The Technical Solutions Architect (TSA) is a subject matter expert for the solutions and products within the purview of the Zones Security Practice. Acting in a technical lead capacity; the TSA will work with Sales, Presales and the Security Partner OEMs to drive awareness and fluency of the Zones Security Portfolio. The TSA will help to create client facing awareness of our capabilities and work in partnership with the Practice Leader, PPM & Marketing organizations to deliver thought-leadership relative to Zones Security services and solutions portfolio. The ultimate goal of the TSA is to partner with the Practice Leader as Technical Evangelist for the entirety of the Security Solution portfolio to enhance the credibility of Sales and Presales to expand wallet share with our clients.
 
As a strategic enabler, the TSA Architect orchestrates cross-functional alignment, standardizes solution frameworks, engineers enablement tools, develops technical competencies, and architects scalable solutions in alignment with Zones' go-to-market strategy.
 
Travel Requirement:
 
This position requires up to 50% travel, including domestic and/or international travel, depending on business needs. Candidates must be able to accommodate a flexible travel schedule and represent the organization effectively while on-site with clients or partners.
 
 
What you’ll do as the Technical Solutions Architect:

  • As a Technical Architect first; assist sales with customer facing discovery calls
  • Act as technical lead for Zones Sales & Pre-Sales Enablement/SME
  • Assist in delivering pre-sales technical assessments, QBRs and proposals
  • Assist in the prioritization of & execution against client opportunities
  • Act as the Technical SME of the respective Zones Practice.
  • Work with the Practice leader in the development of product & services offerings creation
  • Assist Practice leader with the development, execution, and monitoring of a GTM strategy across markets, industries and Geos.
  • Creation & Delivery of enablement for internal stakeholders (Marketing, Finance, Sales, Delivery) for execution of GTM strategy
  • Maintaining a presence and creating Zones brand awareness at field events such as Partner technical training sessions and tech events
  • Support Sales & Pre-Sales in the delivery of presentations and POCs. Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews with Clients & Account Teams.
  • As the Principal SME for a technology area, maintain certification and credentials with our OEMs to elevate Zones with our key partners.
  • Partner with the business Practice Lead to makes recommendations, proposals and enhance Zones’ capabilities and offerings in execution and expansion of the Zones Practice.
  • Recommend and propose new or expanded partner relationships, products or solutions to augment the portfolio.
  • Onboarding and maintenance of the Partner relationship.
  • Plan and execute trainings to enable technical sellers and solution architects to build winning solutions that map to our Solution Catalog.
 
What you will bring to the team:
 
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 12+ years in Sales & Solution Architecture, 5+ years working with or within Solution Practices
  • Multi-architecture knowledge of Security, Networking, Hybrid-Cloud and Data Center concepts.
  • Excellent overall project management skills, and ability to execute tasks and prioritize multiple deadlines, working across practice areas in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong technical communication skills with the ability to interface across skill boundaries.
  • Disciplined and experienced working within a rapidly changing, dynamic & reactive environment
  • Founder / Owner mentality. Must take ownership of their Solutions area and be the Champion.
  • Willingness to lead from the front and be a visible, technical ‘voice’ for the practice.
  • Experience in products & services-led selling environments
 
Certifications:
 
  • CCIE, JNCIE, CISSP and/or additional expert level certification(s) from a technical discipline
 
Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 + bonus.
