Job description

This is a remote position.

We seek a highly skilled and creative Video Editor with advanced expertise in DaVinci Resolve to join our growing brand team. This role involves editing video content for a finance company and a personal business brand. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Brand Manager and Graphic Designer to deliver engaging, high-quality videos for social media, internal training, and podcast production.

Key Responsibilities

Edit and produce weekly social media videos across both the corporate and personal brands.
Edit a video podcast series and create related short-form social content.
Create engaging clips from externally produced footage featuring the company or CEO.
Produce feature videos highlighting major company or personal milestones and achievements.
Edit specialized content for significant company events, media appearances, or key announcements.
Occasionally assist in the editing of internal training videos (minimal).

Requirements

Expert-level proficiency in DaVinci Resolve for video editing.
A portfolio or reel demonstrating strong editing work, particularly for social media or podcast content.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Access to high-speed internet and a reliable editing workstation.

Preferred (but not required) skills that will make your application stand out:

Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
Premiere Pro
After Effects
Lightroom

Work Environment & Expectations

While this is a work-from-home position, it is important to note that this is a full-time role—not a freelance or flexible-hour arrangement. You will be expected to work a fixed shift and maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability, just as you would in an office environment.
