Job Purpose/Overview

The Marketing Lead - APAC will play a pivotal role in executing commercial marketing strategies to support the company's goals in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, including Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and distributor-supported markets. This role will serve as the key marketing contributor and connector between local markets and the global marketing function, ensuring regional implementation and adaptation of global strategy.

The role is hands-on and execution-oriented, while also contributing strategic input tailored to local market needs. It requires close collaboration with commercial, technical, and product teams locally, as well as with central marketing and product teams in the US and EU.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the development and lead the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns for APAC, in line with global brand direction.

  • Manage content creation and approval processes across digital and traditional media, including brochures, sell sheets, product bulletins, handover guides, and quick guides.

  • Develop, localise and deploy campaigns across social media, websites, email, podcasts, print, and event channels.

  • Liaise with global marketing teams in the US and EU to ensure regional alignment and approval of marketing materials.

  • Coordinate trade show and event participation, including logistics, promotional planning, and on-site presence.

  • Plan, coordinate, and host educational webinars, in collaboration with the Product Management, including speaker liaison and promotional execution.

  • Support product launches, including local campaign development, sales training coordination, and technical team enablement.

  • Act as a local marketing liaison to the product team for clinical content, launch updates, and product positioning.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis, in conjunction with the Commercial Teams, to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.

  • Build strategic partnerships and execute co-marketing initiatives with aligned industry organisations.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution and consistent branding across all customer touchpoints.

  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure timely and efficient execution.

  • Maintain and optimise CRM, marketing automation systems, and reporting tools.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in animal health, diagnostics, life sciences or medical devices.

  • Prior experience working in or supporting the APAC region is highly desirable.

  • Experience in cross-functional or matrixed teams and fast-paced environments.

  • Passionate for pet care and driven by the purpose of creating a better world for pets.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional Asian languages are a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience in content marketing, campaign planning, and digital execution.

  • Proficiency with social media platforms, email marketing tools, CRM systems, and marketing analytics (Google Analytics, SEO/SEM tools).

  • Creative thinker with a proactive attitude and ability to manage projects independently.

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Vendor management and budget handling experience is beneficial.

  • Comfortable interacting across cultures and time zones, balancing global direction with local insight.
