The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Senior Operations Accountant to join our finance team, reporting to the Controller. In this role, you’ll manage account reconciliations, play a key role in month-end close, and ensure accurate financial reporting. You’ll also handle expense management, vendor reporting, assist with audits, and help maintain strong internal controls and compliance. This is a remote role with limited travel, ideal for someone who values accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Play a key role to streamline our AP, expense reimbursement, and credit card reconciliation processes.
- Help define and manage our vendor relationships and contract process.
- Manage daily operations including, but not limited to: bills processing, vendor setup, credit card transactions accounting coding, invoices approvals requests
- Manage core aspects of the month-end close, including preparing journal entries, financial statements, and account reconciliations (e.g., bank accounts, credit cards, and accounts payable).
- Reconcile sub-ledger and general ledger account balances, including ensuring accurate payroll GL postings.
- Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with initial internal control evaluations and help ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards to reduce risk and maintain audit readiness.
- Provide support for external audits by preparing general ledger account analyses and providing detailed documentation.
- Support initiatives to improve accounting processes, documentation, and systems.
- Prepare vendor detail reports and support finance-related activities for procurement.
Must have details:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in General Ledger accounting
- Experience with the full scope of daily operational accounting, from processing bills and setting up vendors to coding credit card transactions and handling invoice approvals
- Experience with expense management software (Brex, ramp, airbase…)
- Experience with ERP (Netsuite, Sage intact…)
- High level of attention to detail and a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- You are located in, and authorized to work in, the US
Nice to have skills:
- SaaS Accounting
- Experience with Rippling (HRIS software)
- Experience with Ramp (P2P software)
- Experience with Netsuite
- Advanced Excel skills
