Job summary

The DigiCert ONE CA team is looking for a knowledgeable Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our agile cross-functional team to build the future of PKI and security management.

 

What you will do

  • Collaborate with an agile cross-functional engineering team in developing and implementing QA testing strategy
  • Determine the appropriate balance of manual and automated tests, as well as the types of tests (UI, API, functional/performance/load, etc.)
  • Create processes to validate data quality, including well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Improve and build upon our test suite, test guidelines, and testing culture
  • Review and test your teammates pull requests
  • Develop a deep understanding of products, architecture, and systems
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug product defects and provide timely solutions to customer issues

 

What you will have 

  • 5+ years of industry experience – QA automation experience with Python (essential) 
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Postman, or other API testing frameworks and technologies
  • Familiarity with QA automation architecture, methodologies, processes, and tools
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
  • Ability to research and learn new technologies
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills – must enjoy working and collaborating with a team
  • The ideal candidate should demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to support the team

 

Nice to have 

  • Understanding of SSL/TLS, PKI, and other security related technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, etc., or equivalent years of experience in the industry
  • Technologies we use, any experience is a bonus!

    • Jenkins, or experience with other CI/CD tools

 

Additional information:

The schedule would be from 11:00 - 20:00 SAST to support the US Team.
