We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our client´s team. As a PM, your primary responsibility will be to provide best-of-class project management for cloud consulting engagements, including transformation, migration, optimization, and configuration.
Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, document, and manage activities throughout cloud consulting engagements as a billable project manager.
Participate in consulting sessions to understand challenges, technical needs, and customer requirements.
Manage comprehensive project plans and validate requested deliverables, resource requirements, internal goals, client priorities, and milestones.
Monitor project progress and provide status reports on budgets, timelines, risks, assumptions, scope changes, issues, and dependencies to clients and team members.
Control and analyze project finances by ensuring project funding is secured and documented and creating cost estimates that are aligned with resource requirements.
Communicate and manage relationships with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
Hard Skills:
Experience in technical consulting, including direct management/interactions with customers.
Experience managing project budgets inclusive of change order management.
Experience managing cloud consulting engagements including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar.
Experience managing third-party partners as part of consulting engagements.
Experience with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM.
Knowledge of ITIL practices (Change Management, Problem Management).
Nice to have/It's a plus:
AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification.
PMP or CAPM Certification.
Experience with Issue tracking systems (Like Azure DevOps, Jira, Asana, Gitlab Issues, etc.)
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical capabilities and the ability to break down complex ideas into manageable pieces.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences, including creating and presenting executive summaries to steering committees and other executive-level leadership.
Strong leadership skills to guide, train and keep team members motivated and on track.
