Experience and expert knowledge of data pertaining to customer connections, connection exposure, account reviews, lending policies, privacy policies, customer financials, Risk Appetite Metrics (RAMs), and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs). A bachelor’s degree in agriculture, finance, business, economics, mathematics, statistics, or computer science and at least four years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). An understanding of statistics and mathematics or data configuration combined with strong business domain knowledge. Advanced working knowledge of data manipulation and management tools, as well as mastery of one or more visualization tools.

Required Skills:

Ability to identify, source, link, manipulate, and interpret risk data and information, and turn this into actionable reports and insights for decision-making.
The work requires knowledge of IT systems and data, policies, and procedures. Research, analytical, problem-solving skills and creativity are required. Good levels of understanding of statistics and mathematics or data configuration combined with strong business domain knowledge.
An advanced working knowledge of data manipulation and management tools are required, along with the ability to quickly learn and adopt new tools as the industry evolves. Has obtained mastery of one or more visualization tools.
The work requires an in-depth understanding of credit portfolio management practices and risk measurement processes supplemented with a solid understanding of credit risk management and the Canadian agriculture and food industry. Analyses and develops insights regarding the organization’s loan portfolio and risk measurement processes, including allowance for credit loss and capital. Communicates insights regarding the health of the loan portfolio to internal and/or external stakeholders.
Leads the development and execution of risk measurement processes for FCC’s stress-testing program.
