We are seeking multiple Business/Systems Analysts to join our Financial Management Business Transformation (FMBT) Interface and Data Conversion Team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The team will be responsible for implementing financial system interfaces and migrating data from legacy systems to Momentum Financials across the VA for the next 6 years.
Job Description: Applicants must have at least 5 years of experience working as a business/systems analyst, ideally with some experience working with Momentum Financials or similar COTS financial ERP systems. Responsibilities include: • Lead requirements elicitation from end-users for interface, data conversion, and/or data cleanse activities. • Conduct design reviews, establish acceptance criteria, and understand business processes. • Provide functional support and document requirements, detailed design specifications, and/or data conversion and cleanse plans. • Analyze legacy and target system data, conduct reconciliation activities, and coordinate across multiple development efforts. • Collaborate with other analysts to understand business processes and legacy system data and processes. • Develop expertise in the COTS tool, Federal financial management business processes, and ERP implementation best practices. • Lead functional testing, develop test scenarios, and perform validation testing. • Implement quality assurance standards and processes for validation and verification efforts.
Requirements
• US citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Able to pass a Tier 2 MBI background investigation.
• Experience working with the Momentum Financials front-end and database.
• Strong analytical and written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team to solve problems.
