Job Title: Strategic Marketing Specialist – Omnichannel (Medcomms) 

Reports to: Strategic Marketing Manager – Omnichannel (Medcomms) 

Location: Remote, USA 

Job Status: Full-time, Exempt 

 

Role Description and Purpose: 

As the Strategic Marketing Specialist– Omnichannel (Medcomms) at CEA, you hold a pivotal position within the Marketing/Engagement team, tasked with assisting in developing, executing, and overseeing marketing strategies and tasks. These efforts are designed to drive high-quality engagement among healthcare professionals (HCPs) across our digital/enduring and live programs, as well as our insights-driven activities. Your primary objective is to ensure the achievement of our sold initiatives' goals through proficient management of lead nurturing, digital strategy/execution, and vendor relationships.  

The ideal candidate is results-oriented and detail-oriented with a passion for executing effective omni-channel marketing initiatives for small, highly targeted in-person and virtual events. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with and manage deliverables and outcomes of marketing strategies aimed at enhancing HCP engagement across our live programs, as well as our insights-driven activities.
  • Identify and recruit specific HCPs for virtual and in-person events by leveraging multiple databases and NPI matching (list matching).
  • Query diverse databases to optimize target list match success rate effectively.
  • Create comprehensive marketing campaigns that utilize omnichannel tactics that engage target audiences effectively.
  • Design and optimize email campaigns and landing pages to enhance user engagement and improve conversion rates.
  • Manage trackers and analyze data to derive actionable insights and continuously improve marketing campaigns.
  • Support the Events team with booking venues, predominantly restaurants with private dining rooms, from outreach through contract and event execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop HCP marketing materials and campaign assets that drive measurable engagement for sponsored content. Ensure compliance with MLR regulations, including materials reviews and approval processes.
  • Provide exemplary service pre/post campaign in order to meet contractual obligations by monitoring program performance.
  • Meet all marketing goals efficiently and cost-effectively, driving high-quality HCP engagement.
  • Proactively communicate marketing strategy and performance progress with key stakeholders, taking initiative to provide progress reports and creatively troubleshoot as needed.

Qualifications: 

  • Proven track record of 1+ years in crafting highly effective marketing campaigns, covering copywriting, email production/automation, landing page development, etc., with a demonstrated history of delivering tangible results and implementing robust tracking systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel for list matching, database querying, marketing analytics, and reporting is a must.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, comfortable with ambiguity, and adept at leading and collaborating with teams, vendors, and management.
  • Passion for data-driven decision-making, with the ability to present information persuasively to stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and critical problem-solving skills, with experience analyzing data and insights. Motivated to troubleshoot and explore all avenues, with a keen sense of when and how to escalate issues. 
  • Self-starter, enthusiastic about achieving significant growth goals and objectives within a rapidly evolving market landscape.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, preferably with exposure to startups, where adaptability to change is essential.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical marketing or familiarity with MLR compliance is advantageous.
  • GA and marketing automation certifications highly desirable. Marketo experience is a plus. 
  • Experience with data visualization platforms. Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

 

Travel Requirements:  

  • Up to 10% of the time between offices as needed
