The Opportunity: 

Are you passionate about bridging the gap between technology solutions and business? As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in helping organizations navigate Identity and Access Management (IAM) challenges. With expertise in either Okta or One Identity solutions, you’ll showcase how cutting-edge security solutions can drive business success. This role blends technical know-how, strategic thinking, and persuasive communication to engage clients and support the sales team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Solution Design and Customisation:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, challenges, and goals.
  • Design and propose customised IAM software vendor and Intragen service solutions that align with client needs.
  • Prepare detailed technical and functional proposals, ensuring alignment with client expectations.


Client Engagement:

  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proof of concepts (PoC).
  • Build relationships with clients by addressing technical queries and showcasing solution benefits.
  • Gather feedback to refine offerings and ensure customer satisfaction.


Sales Support:

  • Partner with the sales team to create compelling proposals and respond to RFPs.
  • Assist in pricing, resource estimation, and project timelines.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities during client discussions.


Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with internal teams such as product development, project management, and marketing to ensure solution alignment and feasibility.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales and technical teams, translating technical details into business benefits.


Market Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor solutions, and emerging technologies within the IAM market
  • Provide insights on Cyber market demands and contribute to product roadmap discussions.


Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain records of client interactions, technical solutions, and sales activities.
  • Provide regular reports on pre-sales activities, challenges, and achievements.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field ideal.
  • Advanced certifications in relevant IT Solutions such as IAM vendors

 

Experience:

  • 2–5 years as an IAM Solutions Engineer, IAM Pre-sales or IAM Consulting required. 
  • Hands-on experience with IAM software platforms and service delivery.
  • Knowledge of Okta (Auth0 or Okta Workforce Identity) or One Identity (One Identity Manager, Safeguard or One Login).


Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of IAM software market, cloud platforms and Enterprise systems
  • Ability to perform technical demonstrations and PoCs.


Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple clients.
