Description

Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. 

 

We are currently seeking a full-time Site Medical Director to join our team at Pendleton Correctional Facility located in Pendleton, Indiana.

 

The Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements, direct clinical services for patients, and clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Medical Director collaborates with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided, and participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
  • Active, unrestricted MD/DO Missouri license or ability to obtain
  • Active, unrestricted DEA
  • Missouri BNDD
  • Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check

Available Shift

  • Monday - Friday
  • Day shift 
  • No nights, holidays or weekends
  • Choice of 5-8 hour shifts or 4-10 hour shifts
