Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Imaging Applications Analyst to lead and support TRA’s radiology imaging platforms, including PACS, RIS, and related systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in healthcare IT who thrives on collaboration, innovation, and making a direct impact on clinical operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Implement, support, and optimize IntelePACS, Clario, LaurelBridge, and MedInformatix RIS
  • Manage system integrations and interfaces (DICOM, HL7)
  • Ensure system availability, performance, and documentation standards
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and maintain system configurations
  • Collaborate with radiologists, clinical staff, IT peers, vendors, and leadership
  • Identify and implement innovative imaging technologies
  • Monitor ticket queues and manage support tasks proactively

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting clinical imaging systems
  • Hands-on expertise with PACS/RIS, DICOM, and HL7 protocols
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Solid understanding of radiology workflows, especially outpatient
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and clinical teams
  • Project management experience or certifications a plus
  • A collaborative and forward-thinking attitude

Location: Onsite in Downtown Tacoma, WA. Free, secure parking is provided. 

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Limited on-call rotation.

Pay: $87K - $106K per year based on relevant experience, skills, and abilities.
