About the role:

Receive and analyze customer requests and provide solutions and pricing for custom options.  Evaluate capacity and stability for varying truck configurations and attachments.  Process customer requests for new/replacement capacity plates.  Provide support for trucks equipped with custom modifications.  Research new modifications that could improve sales of trucks and review with Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales. Support new product introductions during development to determine which Customs options will be available. Review custom option financial query to ensure meeting company profitability goals. Review and update as necessary to ensure accurate customization pricing.

Provide drawings and engineering data to suppliers providing custom attachments and components to Logisnext

What you will do:

  • Receive customer request for custom options via CRM system, email and phone.  Analyze request, collect data, discuss (with design, marketing, service, legal and suppliers) and provide solutions for the request.  Study cost and provide pricing for custom options.  Maintain Customization sales engineering log.
  • Calculate capacity and stability based on customer request.  Gather information from customer (desired truck specifications) and suppliers (attachment specifications) in order to provide information and capacity ratings National Account, Dealer salesmen or Customers for quoting.
  • Process customer request for new or replacement capacity plates.  Collect all pertinent information, input in to ERP system, print and mail new capacity plate.
  • Provide after-market support for trucks equipped with custom options.
  • Provide drawings and engineering data to suppliers who provide custom attachments and option parts to Logisnext
  • Research new modifications that could improve sales of trucks and review with Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales. Support new product introductions during development to determine which Customs options will be available.
  • Review custom option financial query to ensure meeting company profitability goals. Review and update as necessary to ensure accurate customization pricing.

When & Where:

Hybrid work schedule. 3 days in office, 2 days remote work from home.

Qualifications

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent direct experience
  • Knowledge of Industrial Truck usage and applications
  • Knowledge of Capacity calculations and truck stability
  • Knowledge of ANSI and OSHA regulations
  • Experience with mass production of industrial equipment and assembly processes
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (CRM) used for quoting and communication
  • Interpersonal skills, Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Organization and time management skills

What would be nice to have:

  • Knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Engineering and/or Sales/Marketing experience in the forklift industry

The pay for this position ranges from $76,147 to $92,251 annually. The specific salary for a successful candidate will depend upon, among other legitimate factors, education, training, and/or experience.
