Job description

Dane Street is excited to announce an opportunity for Board Certified Urology Physicians to join our disability peer review team! This is a telework position with flexible scheduling, allowing you to provide reviews from the comfort of your home. Our physician panel includes independent contract reviewers (1099) who are compensated on a per-case basis.

The ideal candidate will hold a current, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state and be Board Certified in Urology.

Requirements

As a Physician Reviewer/Advisor for Disability Peer Reviews, you will apply your clinical expertise to evaluate disability claims related to urological conditions. Your role will involve assessing medical evidence and providing detailed opinions on functional limitations stemming from these conditions.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review medical records and provide concise evaluations of urological conditions
  • Offer expert opinions on functional limitations related to the claimant's urological issues
  • Ensure that evaluations are thorough, clear, and substantiated by reliable medical evidence
  • Follow client-specific policies and guidelines during the review process
  • Return completed evaluations in a timely manner
  • Maintain active medical licensure and credentials
  • Attend orientation and training sessions as needed

Board certification and active practice are required.
