The Adventure Ahead:

The Regional Sales Director, identifies and acquires new business accounts across all travel verticals. Manages strategic relationships with current travel partners and responsible for retaining and growing existing business. Maintains an extensive pipeline of opportunities and acts as the main point of contact for partner questions or concerns, education, and training.

  • Meet or exceed sales goals for both new and existing business within assigned territory through prospecting, lead nurturing, and pipeline management
  • Generate new sales lead through cold calling, attending trade shows, conferences, and other events, and building and developing relationships with senior-level client contacts and strategic partnerships
  • Serve as a brand ambassador by communicating the value of travel insurance
  • Monitor competitor and industry trends to identify marketplace characteristics
  • Collaborate across internal departments to align sales initiatives and optimize partner performance

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field, or the equivalent education and /or experience
  • Minimum of five years of proven sales experience, with a strong track record in prospecting, closing, growth of existing business and exceeding financial targets
  • Travel insurance experience and relationships with distribution partners in the leisure travel industry, preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with presentation abilities to engage decision-makers at all organizational levels
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business to proactively respond to changing business environment
  • Ability to work independently and self-manage

The reasonable pay range for this position is $80K to $120, subject to geographic adjustments, where applicable. The pay range is the range THMCC, in good faith, believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The hired applicant will be offered pay within the entire range based on qualifications, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
