Job Purpose: This position provides mental health therapy, clinical interventions, and behavioral management support to a caseload of children/adolescents (ages 0-17) and their families. Responsibilities include maintaining appropriate documentation to include diagnosis, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries as well as participate in required meetings such as clinical supervision, case consultation, school consultations (as necessary), and department and agency meetings.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure, and Credentials: (Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted)
Minimum Required Education: Master’s degree in social work, clinical psychology, psychiatric mental health nursing, or a degree in a specified related field. Educational background must meet or exceed the requirements of DHS 35.
Required License – Certification – Registration- Issued by Governing Body:
Meet or exceed the requirements of DHS 35 Wisconsin State license as an LCSW, LPC, or LPC-IT must be obtained before the hire date or job transfer date.
Travel outside of office: Minimal travel required
Required Valid Driver’s License: Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
Required Auto Insurance: Vehicle liability insurance in accordance with Agency policy.

Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
Visual Acuity: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, and viewing a computer terminal.
Working Conditions: None: The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
