Internship Opportunity – Youth & Family Services

EveryMind is seeking interns to join our Youth & Family Services (YFS) team, supporting our school-based and community counseling programs. This internship is ideal for students currently enrolled in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling psychology programs who want to gain direct experience in mental health services.

What You’ll Gain & Learn:
  • Provide individual counseling to children, adolescents, and/or adults, as well as family counseling (available for second-year master’s students only)
  • Offer case management services to connect clients with resources and support
  • Plan and facilitate group counseling sessions
  • Collaborate with school staff and administration to support families (if school-based)
  • Work with community stakeholders on outreach initiatives, including donation collection
  • Conduct needs assessments and collect program data
  • Assist clients in achieving self-sufficiency by linking them with essential resources, including food assistance
  • Work with an intern cohort, intern supervisor, and care managers to compile community resource directories for YFS service coordination
  • Gain experience working with diverse, multicultural populations in a multi-disciplinary team environment
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required for this role.
