The Infrastructure and Capital Projects is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Business Development Coordinator to join our Renewables, Power, and Energy Infrastructure practice. The ideal candidate will play a dual role: supporting business development activities and providing administrative support to the Managing Director leading the practice. This is a unique opportunity for an organized, driven individual to work at the intersection of client development and operational excellence within a fast-paced and rapidly evolving sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development Coordination:
- Coordinate business development efforts, including managing and tracking the client pipeline, RFP responses, and proposal submissions.
- Develop and maintain CRM entries and generate reports to monitor key business development metrics.
- Support preparation of pitch decks tailored to client needs, client materials, and thought leadership content.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and update marketing collateral and ensure all materials are aligned with the firm’s branding and messaging.
- Track industry news, market trends, and competitor activities to support strategic client targeting.
- Organize and coordinate client meetings, events, and conferences, including logistics, materials preparation, and follow-ups.
- Assist in drafting and refining external communications, including proposals, engagement letters, and marketing collateral.
Practice general support:
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to grow the new practice.
- Provide administrative support to the practice leader and team as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of practice initiatives.
Executive Support to Managing Director:
- Manage the Managing Director’s calendar, coordinate meetings, and prioritize scheduling to maximize impact.
- Organize travel logistics and process expenses with speed and accuracy.
- Draft correspondence, meeting agendas, and briefing materials to support high-level engagements.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment in handling sensitive information.
- Proactively support internal initiatives, practice meetings, and business planning processes.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a consulting or professional services firm preferably within the energy sector
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy and urgency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at preparing polished client deliverables.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering at a high standard.

Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The salary range is $75,000 - $95,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
