Job description

This is a remote position.

We have an exciting opportunity available for someone to join our team as a Support Engineer.

You will be working closely with our developers, QA team, and customer service representatives to help deliver on our zero bug policy. Your primary responsibilities will include investigating new bugs, identifying and documenting root causes, and supporting our customer service team with 2nd line technical expertise.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, methodical in their approach to problem-solving, and passionate about continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in helping us learn from issues, making improvements that reduce risk and enhance platform stability.

As part of a small and growing SaaS team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference and work with a product used by well-known global corporations.

Remote / Hybrid

Work is predominantly remote, so you must have a home set-up that is conducive to remote work. There will be occasions when it is beneficial to meet, so you'll be able to travel to our London office (we meet as a company 3 times per year - Spring, Autumn & Christmas).

We value flexibility—our support coverage spans a range of hours, so whether you’re an early riser, need a longer lunch, or have school runs to consider, that’s fine with us. All we ask is for reliable coverage across our 2nd line support window.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate and reproduce bugs and issues reported by users or identified internally

  • Work closely with developers and QA to establish root causes and ensure quick resolution

  • Support the Customer Service team with detailed technical insight and second-line assistance

  • Document issues thoroughly and suggest improvements to reduce future occurrences

  • Contribute to our continuous learning culture by feeding back findings into our engineering process

  • Collaborate with developers on improving system reliability, observability, and diagnostic tooling

Requirements

Skills and experience:

  • Computer Science/Maths Degree (or similar)

  • 5+ years commercial experience with C# / .NET

  • Strong understanding of SQL and data analysis

  • Experience debugging production issues and reading stack traces/logs

  • Familiarity with JavaScript/jQuery

  • Comfortable with source control (Git)

  • Experience working in agile development teams

  • Based in either the United kingdom or the European Union

  • Azure (Functions, WebJobs, Web Apps, Storage, etc.)

  • ASP.NET MVC 5

  • Angular

  • .NET Core

Personal qualities:

  • Analytical mindset with a passion for getting to the root of problems

  • Able to work independently and communicate clearly

  • Enthusiastic about contributing to a high-quality platform

  • Interest in sports and/or entertainment is a bonus

Benefits
  • New PC with second monitor & accessories

  • 25 days holiday + public holidays

  • 5% matched company pension contribution

  • £500 towards home office set-up

  • After 12 months’ service, eligibility for our company EMI scheme with stock options
