Amerisure is recruiting for a Product Analyst to join our team.  This position can sit remote from most locations in the U.S.

Position Summary:

With guidance assist product planning, development, and maintenance in support of enhancing Amerisure’s expertise in target markets. Research and respond to key trends, regulatory adjustments, and environmental factors, and market needs. Support projects and collaborate to track and report product performance to key stakeholders. Support projects to bring recommendations to execution.

Responsibilities:

  • With guidance support coverage design of new products and manuscript endorsements

  • Begin to build and develop a growing level of knowledge and understanding of the contract and form language used in all Commercial Lines products in relationship to competitors

  • Support the development, capture, and documentation of business requirements and collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure successful interpretation of circulars into IT requirements

  • Support and assist in conducting market analysis and competitive intelligence gathering to support Amerisure’s specialties to determine potential product enhancements and retirements

  • Provide support in the evaluation of Amerisure’s product portfolio against the competitive landscape and target market needs to determine potential product enhancements and retirements

  • Review/analyze and implement, with guidance from Product Specialists, bureau circulars for new and existing products and coverages including the Rules and Forms to implement as appropriate

  • Support proposing corresponding training content and coordinate with Underwriting and corporate training resources to promote full understanding of the new products

  • Assist in reporting product performance using designated key performance indicators and metrics

  • Develop and manage relationships with internal and external partners to achieve mutual success

  • Support tasks to design and implement the procedures and development of a new Policy Administration system

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work-related experience

  • 3  year demonstrated coverage analysis experience within the insurance industry or similar role

  • CPCU and/or other property and casualty certifications preferred

  • Intermediate computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work on multiple project work teams using applied principles of project management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers

  • Demonstrated ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams

  • Self-starter with ability to perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Ability to travel up to 10%
