Job description

Resource Innovations is seeking an Outreach & Field Manager to join our growing team.  As an Outreach & Field Manager with Resource Innovations, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive outreach and engagement strategy for this electrification initiative, which focuses primarily on electrifying homes and businesses. This role will also serve as a primary customer point of contact, managing customer tracking and data coordination with the client, and guiding customers through the full engagement journey. You will also collaborate with municipalities, community-based organizations, and trade allies to maximize participation and leverage complementary programs. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of planning experience, program delivery expertise, and a strong ability to engage effectively with residential and commercial customers.

Resource Innovations’ Community Decarbonization Team implements programs that help homes and businesses access the resources needed to transition to cleaner energy solutions. Our programs aim to reduce energy costs, improve environmental quality, and enhance residents' and business operators' overall quality of life.

This role will be pivotal in fostering community partnerships to support a network of outreach partnerships that can connect to potential program participants. The ideal candidate for this position will have deep knowledge of California’s energy efficiency and electrification ecosystem. Experience in advancing community-based energy or environmental efforts and an ability to problem-solve, coach, and guide local governments and community-based partners working to advance equitable electrification, decarbonization, and/or climate action will be highly valued in this role, which can significantly impact the community.

  • Establish and refine communication protocols, handoff points, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and define and report on performance metrics and key outreach goals aligned with client priorities.
