Summary of Responsibilities

  • Action customer requests received through multiple channels, from quote to order
  • Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about products, pricing and availability
  • Order Management: review and track back-orders with inventory planners and warehouse staff and offer alternatives where applicable
  • Resolve issues with delivery, inventory and invoicing – process returns and replacement orders as necessary
  • Become a product expert in order to understand each customer's needs to provide effective and meaningful solutions
  • Build sustainable trust-based relationships to guarantee a best-in-class experience for the customer 
 

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2-3 years previous procurement and/or customer service experience in an industrial environment is preferred
  • Exhibit a strong ability to adapt to changing workload priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and plan work
  • Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent initiative and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills: Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
