The Group Product Manager will lead the evaluation, planning, and implementation of field-facing technology solutions that support the Homecare Division. This role will be responsible for driving innovation, improving clinical workflows, and ensuring PCMs technology strategy meets the needs of a complex and evolving care delivery model.
The Group Product Manager’s initial focus will be on leading the business case development and future implementation planning of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system tailored for home-based care delivery. The role will also take ownership of Skedulo, our existing staffing and scheduling platform, and will be responsible for exploring opportunities to expand and optimize its use within the field.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (required); Master’s degree (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or technology implementation, preferably in a healthcare or homecare environment
- Experience with workforce management, EMR, or care coordination platforms (e.g., Skedulo, HHAeXchange, MatrixCare, or similar)
- Strong understanding of homecare workflows, caregiver documentation requirements, and healthcare regulatory considerations
- Proven ability to develop and present business cases, roadmaps, and technology proposals to leadership
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with mobile-first design and field technology adoption challenges
- Experience working within a PMO structure or alongside formal project management teams
- Familiarity with EEOICPA or similar programs is a plus
- Agile or product ownership certifications (e.g., CSPO) are a plus
Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability:
- Lead discovery efforts to understand field user workflows, technology gaps, and functional requirements for an EMR system
- Map high-level workflows and draft system requirements
- Meet with clinical, operational, and IS stakeholders to gather input and validate direction
- Develop ongoing business cases, including high-level timelines, budget, and implementation roadmaps
- Ensure planning and evaluation efforts are well-documented and support executive-level decision-making
Ongoing essential functions:
- Serve as the product owner for field technology platforms, Skedulo and future EMR system(s)
- Identify, evaluate, and propose enhancements to field-facing tools and systems
- Support field automation, digital workflow design, and mobile-first user experience improvements
- Coordinate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure effective implementation and adoption
- Collaborate with training and operations teams to support system onboarding and ongoing user success
- Develop and maintain roadmaps, user requirements, process documentation, and governance structures
- Ensure solutions align with organizational priorities and compliance standards
- All other duties as assigned
The typical base pay range for this role is USD $110,300 - $174,500 per year.
Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, skills and other market-based factors.
