We're seeking a highly skilled, detail-obsessed Email & SMS Designer with proven experience in eCommerce design. If you don’t have at least 2 years of professional eCommerce or direct-response email design experience, this role is not for you.
This role goes beyond making things “look good.” You’ll be responsible for creating optimized, high-converting visual assets that elevate performance in Email & SMS campaigns. You'll work within strict brand guidelines, yet bring creative innovation and best practices to every asset you touch.
Design visually compelling and conversion-optimized emails for eCommerce and direct-response campaigns.
Create and test static and animated assets (icons, GIFs, layouts, etc.) to support high-performing campaigns.
Design and build emails directly in Klaviyo—this includes slicing, resizing, and coding emails when needed.
Participate in A/B testing and consistently iterate on design based on data and performance.
Ensure all deliverables are error-free, properly proofread, and optimized before delivery.
Stay current on design trends and proactively bring fresh ideas to the team.
Join daily team syncs and collaborate with marketers, copywriters, and strategists.
2–3+ years of proven experience in eCommerce or direct-response Email Design (not general graphic design).
Expertise in Klaviyo or a similar ESP. Hands-on experience required.
Proficiency in Photoshop; familiarity with Illustrator and basic HTML/CSS a plus.
Strong knowledge of design fundamentals, layout hierarchy, and conversion-driven UI/UX.
Clear understanding of branding, typography, spacing, and responsive design.
Excellent proofreading skills – No tolerance for typos, inconsistent spacing, or sloppy work.
Ability to work independently within style guides with minimal client-facing interaction.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Intermediate to advanced English required.
Must thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with tight turnarounds.
Based within 3 hours of EST. Must be located in the U.S. or Colombia.
Experience with SMS platforms like Postscript or Attentive.
Spanish fluency (especially helpful for internal collaboration).
