We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior ER/IR Advisor to join the HR Team in Perth! In this role, you will play a critical role in advising and supporting HR and project leadership teams across major engineering and construction projects valued between $50 million and $6 billion.

Your focus will include:

  • Provide expert advice on industrial instruments, including Enterprise Agreements (EAs), Modern Awards, and union engagement

  • Support EA negotiation and implementation across multiple projects and jurisdictions

  • Develop and implement IR strategies aligned with business objectives and project timelines

  • Provide advice and support on performance management, misconduct investigations, grievances, and disciplinary processes

  • Act as the escalation point for complex ER cases, ensuring outcomes are compliant, consistent, and minimise legal risk

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable legislation including the Fair Work Act, Work Health & Safety laws, and case law developments

What you will bring to the team:

  • Minimum 5+ years experience in IR/ER advisory roles, preferably within construction, resources, or infrastructure.

  • Proven experience managing IR/ER in large-scale projects and complex industrial environments.

  • Deep understanding of Australian employment legislation, industrial instruments, and Fair Work Commission processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret EAs, manage disputes, and influence positive industrial outcomes.

  • Experience gained in employer/employee associations or regulatory bodies will be highly regarded

  • Experience in/or aptitude for undertaking enterprise agreement wage calculations and analysis Previous FIFO or project-based experience within a tier-1 or tier-2 construction environment.
