Overview

At AstroPay, the Operations Associate plays a key role in ensuring our products and services run smoothly and efficiently. This position is responsible for supporting and improving core operational processes, collaborating across teams to solve problems, and driving initiatives that enhance the user experience. From monitoring day-to-day activities to identifying opportunities for optimization and automation, the role demands a hands-on, analytical, and solutions-oriented mindset.

About The Role

As a Product Operations Associate your role will be to:

  • Define, strengthen, and optimize operational processes that enhance the team’s ability to deliver effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation by identifying opportunities to boost efficiency through new technologies, workflows, and best practices.
  • Stay informed about market and industry trends, proactively addressing future challenges and opportunities.
  • Monitor operational tools and key performance indicators to ensure smooth performance and early issue detection.
  • Communicate and collaborate across teams to align on priorities and ensure objectives are met.
  • Provide support as an escalation point for operational issues, offering insights into process implementation and resolution strategies.
  • Contribute to product development by actively participating in discussions and sharing actionable, constructive feedback.
  • Partner with product teams to understand user needs, address operational pain points, and design solutions that improve the overall experience.
Requirement
  • Strong problem-solving skills — able to analyze issues from both a high-level and detailed perspective to drive resolution.
  • Proactive and curious — not afraid to question processes, dive into challenges, and seek improvements.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, constantly evolving environments; adaptable and hands-on.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to clearly articulate ideas and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Prior experience in roles within the payments, fintech, or tech industries is highly valued.
  • Experience working with databases, APIs, or other operational tools is a plus.
  • Excellent/High level of Spanish & English, written and oral. Exclusive requirement.
