External Sales Representative (West Coast - WC)

Drive Sales Growth in a Leading Western Cape Brick Manufacturer

Sales R32,000 + AA travel rates, R1,000 cellphone allowance

Working Hours: 8AM- 5PM

Our client is a respected third-generation family-run business that manufactures top-quality clay bricks and masonry products. Based in the Western Cape, their products are a staple among builders and developers in the region. With a commitment to sustainability and efficiency, they launched a high-capacity, eco-conscious factory in 2019. As the company continues to expand, they are looking for passionate individuals to help grow its footprint in key areas.

The Role: External Sales Representative

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team as an External Sales Representative. Your primary mission is to promote and grow product sales across the West Coast region, while maintaining excellent customer relationships and ensuring accurate order handling and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively promote and sell clay bricks and related products throughout the West Coast
  • Build and maintain relationships with developers, site managers, architects, and designers
  • Visit construction sites and retail outlets to ensure proper product representation
  • Manage in-store product promotion and stock levels
  • Resolve customer complaints and site issues quickly and effectively
  • Keep accurate sales and admin records; update CRM and ERP systems
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure correct packaging and deliveries
  • Attend weekly meetings at the Paarl office
  • Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge through internal training

About You

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in construction or building materials
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working independently and on the road
  • Resilient, solutions-focused, and enthusiastic
  • Tech-savvy with basic computer and ERP system proficiency
  • Ability to multitask across admin, logistics, and retail environments
  • Must be based in the West Coast (Western Cape)
  • Valid South African driver's license
  • Matric or relevant tertiary certificate
