Job description

Peachy is currently looking for a QA engineer to join our team to work on high-end front-and back-end solutions for the websites built with Shopify, WordPress, React/Gatsby and Webflow as well as working with the applications.

We work with many clients in the US and there is an opportunity to work on many different projects so this wouldn’t definitely be a monotonous job.

As a Manual QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our projects. You will work closely with our development team to conduct comprehensive testing, identify issues, and contribute to delivering flawless e-commerce solutions to our clients.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • 3 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer, preferably within e-commerce.
  • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Proficient in cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
  • Solid web-related knowledge including API, HTTP protocols, and browser debugging tools.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as SoapUI and Postman.
  • Understanding of third-party integrations, particularly subscription platforms like Recharge, and other related services in the e-commerce ecosystem.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • English language proficiency at B1 level or higher.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct manual testing of Shopify/WP/Webflow websites and web applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet established standards.
  • Review specifications to build test cases and test scenarios.
  • Perform pixel-perfect testing to verify that designs and layouts are implemented exactly as specified.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and work collaboratively with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and execute testing activities.
  • Create test documentation and bug reports.
  • Introduce QA automation to the project (if needed).
