Job description

Job Overview

The Analytics Engineer will help our organization build and maintain high-quality data models that will power customer-centric analytics, segmentation and personalization. You will partner with the Global-CX (GCX) data science and BI team, including BI analysts at HelloConnect, to transform raw data into reliable, well-documented, and reusable data assets that enable stakeholders to make better decisions and improve the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model and transform customer data to create clean, scalable datasets that support analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases.

  • Assist in maintaining data pipelines that feed customer chatbots, predictive models, BI tools, and internal dashboards.

  • Partner with data engineers, BI analysts, and data scientists across the company to ensure reliable and timely delivery of customer data.

  • Provide timely resolution of bugs or data problems affecting the operation of the GCX data environment.

  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of data modeling standards and naming conventions.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing basic data validation and quality checks.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive, up-to-date documentation on the teams data products.

  • Take ownership of several data products, ensuring they remain accurate, up-to-date, and relevant.


Skills and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related quantitative field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, data modeling or similar in a professional role.

  • Strong hands-on programming experience required in SQL.

  • Advanced knowledge of Python, automation and data integration required.

  • Used one or more modern cloud-based data warehouses e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift.

  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for clean, reliable, and documented data.

  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from senior team members.
