About The Role
As an RF Technician, you will contribute to the testing and assembly of RF electronic systems for space-related applications. You’ll work under the guidance of senior technicians and engineering staff to carry out tasks involving developmental circuits, RF measurements, and environmental testing.
Work Location: Montreal, QC
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Duration: Permanent
Work Hours: 40 hours/week | 8 hours/day
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and modify developmental electronic circuits and test benches.
Conduct RF unit tests including:
Interference measurements
Noise figure and gain
Amplifier compression and oscillation tests
Use RF tools such as:
Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs)
Spectrum Analyzers
RF power meters
Perform environmental testing (thermal and vacuum tests).
Record test and experimental results accurately.
Follow internal processes and health & safety guidelines.
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Support other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
2–5 years of relevant experience in RF or electronics testing.
Proficiency in spoken and written French.
Strong analytical skills, adaptability, and team orientation.
